Made it Mykonos,
For those of you that have taken a ferry can understand the annoyingness of this process. It’s crowded, people show no mercy in trying to get to the front of the line, and to top it off, all of the luggages are shoved on top of each other… The race to get your luggage was quite the annoying process (two of our luggages got ruined).
Traveling from the port on the back of a wagon (taxi), to our hotel, Hermes Hotel, I felt an instant change compared to Santorini. Everyone is so much younger, and I don’t feel so single (Santorini was filled with couples). It’s 10 pm here and we are off to eat some food and later check out a DJ from Paris!
Let the adventures of Mykonos begin.
Hello from Santorini!
I have been trying to upload pictures from my iPad, with negative results. It’s absolutely beautiful here. If I took a picture from my terrace it would look like one of those “Greece” postcards found in one of these cute little boutique shops. However, you have to work for this view. Don’t let those post cards fool you, the amount of stairs I have had to climb in one week have made up for the excessive amounts of tasty delights (Greek pastries which scream “eat me”) I have swallowed- that’s right I said swallowed. To good to eat slowly.
Tomorrow I ferry away to Mykonos. I’ll will try and blog from there, hopefully the connection is better!
Hope your having a blousy Saturday!
I have wanted to get myself to Europe for a couple years now. With school/work/school/work in the way, I haven’t been able to. Tomorrow I will be in Greece. The week after that, i will be in Barcelona, Spain, and the week after that, I will be back in Greece on a yacht with 8 good friends Yachting away the Greek islands on “The Yacht Week”. And the week after that i’ll see where my travels take me. Pinkandblousy will try to keep you updated! Let’s call this- a trip of a lifetime. I’m ready. The end.
